Product Testing & Quality Assurance

The quality department is fully equipped with following equipment to carry out variety of test required.

Rockwell Hardness Tester and Vicker Hardness Tester.

Universal Tensile Testing machine.
Fully equipped quality laboratory for chemical properties.

All finished products are tested for various quality like hardness, tensile strength, elongation, Erichsen value, and only those that meet the required specifications are dispatched to customers with proper packing in polythene and HDPE/hessian cloth wrapping/wooden pallets after applying rust preventive oil. The coil number and other details are marked clearly with sticker on the coil.

Value of elongation indication depends on thickness.
For thickness less than 1.0 mm the percentage elongation is reduced by 1 unit for each 0.25 mm reduction in thickness.
For thickness less than or equal to 0.7 mm minimum values lower by 2 units are permitted for elongation after fracture.
